Save Money with Oils You Can Trust! High Quality & Low Cost ~ How Can We Do It?
People are always asking how Butterfly Express essential oils can be high quality and affordable at the same time. My answer is based on fact and also personal experience. Please read the following points to understand.
- We have no multi-level marketing system to support. This makes an extremely big difference in price, bringing huge savings to you. Don't get caught up in the multi-level hype!
- Our oils are 100% food grade and therapeutic grade, with no additives. We have certified paperwork on each of our oils, which come from all around the world, and you can request a copy for a particular oil. There is no reason for us to think that a standard like EOBBD (Essential Oils Botanically and Biochemically Defined) would assure that oils certified as such have any better quality than Butterfly Express oils or justify the exhorbitant prices that seem to accompany this certification.
- I can say with total confidence that Butterfly Express essential oils speak for themselves. Once people try our oils, they are convinced and, with a little experience, are able to test other brands and detect the differences in quality.
- The owners of Butterfly Express are very sensitive to the "energy" of the oils -- If they receive an oil that doesn't meet their intuitive standards, they will send it back. Our blender, who has twenty years of experience, is very gifted and skilled in creating exquisite blends of single oils. I don't believe any other company's oils have a "higher energy," as some claim.
- Our oils are absolutely never cut or diluted with anything. As soon as oils are mixed with something else, even a high quality carrier oil like almond or coconut, they begin to break down. Mixed oils are definitely cheaper, but they cannot be considered pure and can easily go rancid before you use them up. I have noticed that the cheaper oils in local health food stores have words like "with Jojoba" on their labels. Sometimes these extra ingredients are hard to find on labels, or the makers consider the concoction pure because both the essential oils and the extras were pure by themselves.
- Because of the purity and quality of our oils, you only need to use a very small amount. For instance, I love to add oils to my bath water and soak in the blissful aroma. But I only put three or four drops in the whole tub. Believe me, that's plenty. I appreciate the peace of mind from knowing that there are no harmful chemicals whatsoever in our oils .
I have been with Butterfly Express since 2006 and have spent many weeks taking classes at their facility. I know these people very well and know that they have the highest integrity and standards of quality. They keep their oils affordable simply because they want people to be able to use them. When they are able to buy oils at a lower cost, they often pass the savings on to their customers. This accounts for some of the price fluctuations you see in our oils. This is a different way of operating in the business world, for sure, but it's very nice for you!

How to Use Essential Oils
Essential oils are so small in molecular size that they quickly penetrate the skin. You do not need to take them internally. These oils enter and leave the body efficiently, leaving no toxins behind. They balance the body's needs. Some easy ways to use them are
Direct/Topical Application
Mix with a good carrier oil (such as almond or coconut) at the time of application to lessen the risk of skin sensitivity and to cover a wider area.Inhaling
Simply sniffing an oil is a great way to get it into your system. A few drops next to your pillow can help promote peaceful sleep. Diffusers are wonderful!Water Magic
Add 2-5 drops to your tub, foot bath, or the bottom of your shower. Mix an essential oil in water and use as a gargle, or dip your toothbrush.
Benefiting from Essential Oils
Each oil has its own set of beneficial properties. They can be antiseptic, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, sedative, analgesic, digestive, stimulating, deodorizing, and more. That's why the list of what an oil can be used for may be quite long.
Essential oils can also be very helpful with emotional concerns and some other things that you might not realize:

Blended Oils
Butterfly Express has a wide variety of oil blends. These are 100% pure oils in carefully selected combinations that produce powerful synergies. And while oils are very safe when used with common sense, blends offer added protection against adverse reactions because of the small amount of each oil in the blend.
Single oils are generally names of plants that you have heard before, like peppermint, eucalyptus, or lemon. Blends are unique to the companies that blend them. In case you are familiar with Young Living oils, Butterfly Express offers blends that are similar to many of their blends. See our cross referenced list.
