Jenni Johnson Bio

My main passion is helping people present their written works and ideas in a professional, polished manner. To that end, I provide editing, writing, formatting, desktop publishing, web content, and family history services.

On another note, for 14 years I sold my own line of essential oils at www.earthsonnets.com. Now I do affiliate sales for www.butterflyexpress.com through a discount website. I am also a certified foot zoner and service local clients. The rest of my bio focuses on writing and editing.

I have worked in some part of the publishing industry for most of my career, after receiving a degree in English from Brigham Young University and then raising five children.

My first job was with a small family business called Roylance Publishing, where I loved helping authors prepare family history books for publication.

Moving to the technical field, I acted as writer, editor, and publisher for hundreds of books while managing the documentation departments at software companies in Salt Lake City.

Later, I returned to genealogy and joined the Family History Network as a writer and editor. There I met Holly Hansen and we began a joint venture – My Ancestors Found (Later, Family History Expos). We wrote and published books and began holding family history conferences across the country.

For two years, My Ancestors Found produced the Family History Network Magazine. I served as managing editor. Since then, I have created and made several histories and photo galleries available on the Family Corner here at Earthsonnets.com.

Currently, I do freelance editing and writing and work part-time for Au Pair Weekend, managing their website and creating online registrations for courses in 10 U.S. locations.
